Drive for 25 - Interim Report Parents

Farm to School is a multifaceted approach to eating Healthy Food while supporting the local economy. One aspect of Farm to School is purchasing local food to be served in schools for breakfast, lunch and snacks. But Farm to School also offers a critical education piece. Through School Gardens, Farm Field Trips, Special Tastings and Events, FFA organizations and promotion, a vibrant Farm to School program educates students about what foods are available in their area, while introducing them to a variety of healthy food options.
